Using music: Scientific studies have proven that music triggers various portions of the brain, strengthening different neural connections associated with learning and memory. Additionally, music stimulates the production of certain hormones linked to happiness and stress relief. What is interesting to note is that the type of music doesn’t matter. The most important thing is the corresponding emotions that are linked to that genre. For example, country music is typically seen as sad and depressing by the public; however, a true country music fan would release feel-good hormones when listening to these songs. Regardless of the genre, it is important to listen to music that helps make the person feel good and motivated.
Meditate: This healing practice is often surrounded in mystery. For most people, meditating is a relaxing practice and one done before one goes to bed. While this is true to some degree, meditation is also a great way to reset the brain and get rid of negative thoughts. In fact, many successful business leaders regularly practice meditation as a means to motivate themselves.

Use words carefully: Words truly have power -- especially the ones spoken by oneself. Business leaders constantly remind their clients to always speak kindly to themselves. This includes complimenting themselves and taking pride in their work. Note that this is highly different from false pride and arrogance.
Another great tip is to allocate a few hours of “pick me up” times during highly stressful events. Sometimes, it can become difficult to become motivated when people become too focused on work.
