Conquering the frustration barrier
Not all goals can be attained at the intended time, sometimes it cannot be achieved at all. When this occurs, it is natural for people to get frustrated. Unfortunately, some people get stuck or quit too early when the going gets tough. There are some who, because of their apprehension in experiencing failures or delays, find themselves not trying new things or going out of their comfort zone.

These are called the frustration barrier. The sad thing is that these obstacles can hold people and organizations back from fulfilling their potential. It is then essential to learn how these barriers can be overcome. The following are some of the ways how:
1. Understand that frustration is temporary: Frustration is not permanent, but there are those who choose to let the feeling linger longer than they should. They just have to persevere and break through the barrier, after which, they can start to enjoy and, eventually, love the process.
2. Do not compare oneself with others: Another innate phenomenon among humans is the tendency to compare themselves with others. It can especially become more frustrating when others find success first. But not everyone learns at the same pace, so there really is no need to gauge one’s own progress against others’.
